I'm a woman who has lived, loved and lost. Through it all, I'm continuing to find God's purpose for me. Thanking him for being the one and showing me how someone should be loved....

In order to really live a purpose filled life, we have to do things without expecting anything in return. If we expect things in return, are we truly doing this out of the kindness of our hearts? Are we fulfilling our life’s true purpose? Or are we only existing to find some reason to shine?
Life is not about receiving the most accolades or making sure as many people as possible remember your name in my humble opinion. It’s about finding your true purpose of existence and following that path that leads to the growth of others. And at the same time, your personal growth and happiness will be fulfilled as well. It’s not hard at all.
More and more, I’m learning that. Not that I’ve ever tried to solely be in the spotlight. But in recent years, I think my reasoning behind the things that I was doing was miscontrued. It didn’t fulfill my “purpose”.
Someone kept telling me “do what makes you happy”. I’m happy when I’m able to serve others. And there is no one set one way that this happens. But what I do believe is that we were not put on this earth to be selfish with our gifts and talents. As a whole, we have to really and truely do for others without expecting anything in return. Life will be so much grander that way. :-)
